I’m always looking for ways to reduce the cellulite on the back of my legs. One new remedy I’ve been using lately is a homemade coffee scrub for cellulite. It helps cellulite in two ways at once! Massaging your skin helps reduce cellulite and the coffee helps exfoliate and tighten your skin.
I now use this homemade coffee scrub for cellulite once a day to improve my skin and also prevent more cellulite. It has noticeably improved the cellulite on my upper thighs.
How this Coffee Scrub Works
There are many natural ways to help reduce the appearance of cellulite. When I first started researching natural methods for reducing cellulite, I found that one of the most researched methods is massage. So for the past several years, I’ve been massaging my legs to help reduce the cellulite.
This coffee scrub for cellulite is great because you can massage it into your skin to get the benefits of both massage and the caffeine from the coffee.
Research shows that massaging helps reduce the appearance of cellulite as it helps increase lymphatic drainage, increases circulation and stretches out cellulite dimples. Vigorous massage can also help reduce the amount of excess fluid under the skin and help reduce the appearance of cellulite. Even though it will not completely eliminate cellulite, it can make a noticeable improvement!
The main ingredient in this homemade coffee scrub for cellulite is ground coffee. Applying ground coffee to your skin can help reduce the appearance of cellulite as it dilates blood vessels, which can reduce the appearance of cellulite and dimpled skin.
When you use the coffee and brown sugar to scrub and massage your skin, it increases circulation to the area and helps plump your skin. This helps reduce the look of dimpled skin.
How to Use this Homemade Coffee Scrub for Cellulite:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh coffee grounds
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
Directions:
1. Mix all of the ingredients in a dish.
2. Apply the scrub mixture to your skin and massage it anywhere you have cellulite in a circular motion. Massage for about 5 minutes to get the full benefits.
3. Rinse off your skin with warm water.
To get the most benefits, use this coffee scrub at least 3 to 4 times a week.
My Experience Using the Scrub:
This homemade coffee scrub for cellulite has really helped improve my legs where I have quite a bit of cellulite, especially on my upper outer thighs.
I think this coffee scrub has helped more than just massaging alone. Although massaging helps too! I think it must be the caffeine in the coffee scrub that really makes a difference in plumping, smoothing and tightening the skin to reduce the appearance of the cellulite.
There have been a few months where I stopped using this homemade coffee scrub for cellulite and I noticed that my cellulite did see to get worse without it.
I do try to stay consistent with using at least once a week.

I also assumed this was for “used” coffee grounds from a/your morning pot of coffee. I also don’t make coffee. I would assume you wouldn’t want to get flavored coffee – but the question does remain is it supposed to be DRY fresh coffee grounds or already used coffee grounds from a/your morning pot of coffee? [Does it matter?]

Thank you,

I just tried this yesterday in the shower. I sure hope it works. My cellulite is all over from my arms, tummy upper legs and lower legs. I have tried everything under the sun to get rid of it. I am starting to use a Fascia Blaster again after not using for a year. I am desperate!!
