This recipe for paleo chocolate chip cookies is my favorite! The cookies are soft, thick, chewy and it’s hard to tell at all that they are paleo.

Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe - Delicious, soft, and chewy made with almond flour and are gluten free, grain free, and dairy free

I love chocolate chips and could eat them every day! There is nothing better than a chocolate chip cookie warm from the oven. So, I decided to try to make a recipe for the healthiest paleo chocolate chip cookies.

This is now my favorite chocolate chip cookies recipe! These cookies are easy to make and come out soo good!

Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies – Made with Almond Flour

These paleo chocolate chip cookies are made with almond flour. Making them a much healthier version of the sweet dessert. Almond flour is fantastic for making recipes and the recipes come out very similar to those made with typical flour.

This recipe is also gluten free, grain free, egg free and dairy free. If you want the cookies to be dairy free, just make sure you use dairy free chocolate chips. Most grocery stores carry dairy free chocolate chips.

I couldn’t believe how great they came out with no eggs! After recently finding out that I am most likely allergic to eggs, this is one of the few recipes that I don’t have to add in a substitute for the eggs.

These paleo chocolate chip cookies can also be vegan! You can use either raw honey or substitute it for a mashed banana.

Benefits of Baking with Almond Flour

I try to make most of the desserts I eat with either coconut flour or almond flour. I love baking with coconut flour for a lot of desserts, like paleo cupcakes and even paleo sandwich bread. But, I do like to switch it up a bit and bake with almond flour too.

Almond flour is very nutritious and much healthier than baking with convention white flour. It is made from grinding whole almonds without the skin.

White flour is refined and does not contain all the great nutrients almond flour does. White flour can also spike your blood sugar levels and be harder to digest.

Almond is so much healthier as it contains a good amount of fiber, protein and is low in carbohydrates so it won’t spike your blood sugar levels.

Tasted good, but this recipe doesn’t mention how many cookies it makes. I doubled it and think I made the cookies too large, so it took forever to cook, and I ended up taking them out earlier than I should have due to fear of getting too done. I made the cookies a lot smaller for the smaller pan, but it seemed like they weren’t cooking either, so I ended up turning the heat up to 350. That was a mistake because they burned. They are still edible but I def cannot take them to someone’s house like this. Would try to make more but ran out of almond flour. At least my daughter likes them.
